History

Danish Ship Decor was founded in 1999.

Since then, we have worked with professional design and decor in the naval sector. We have supplied decorations and photographic prints to ships from Carnival Cruise Lines, Disney Cruise Lines, Aida Cruises and the ‘Queen Mary 2’ of Cunard Line among others.

One of our most spectacular and challenging assignments was creating a true and exactreplica of the 17th century Venetian Caffe Florian for the ‘Costa Atlantica’ from Costa Cruise.

In recent years we have experienced a growing focus on work environment on industrial and merchant ships.

Ship owners such as Maersk, BSS-Lemgo, and Meyer Werft among some, have all benefitted from our expertise in designing and decorating mess halls and crew quarters.

At Danish Ship Decor we are constantly on the look-out for new techniques within the rapidly evolving industry of digital printing. Our equipment is regularly updated and optimized, although we make a point of still being able to supply traditional diapositives or prints when needed.

As a possible new line of services we are looking into applying our specialized printing techniques in the hospitality business.
